Test Prep

Well, I think that I might be able to kind of do ok on the test tomorrow. Haha, actually with all of the studying that I have bee doing, I think I will actually do pretty good. However, who knows.  Right now I am taking a break from the test prep to write posts. Then I will keep going until I am sure that I know it. Good luck to the rest of you and I wish you restful and log sleep.

More Copper-L Lab

After a weekend of doing cool  reaction stuff, this is what our copper looked like after we pulled it out. Needless to say, it was gross. I personally thought that this was one of the grossest labs I have ever done. maybe coming a close second to the lab in bio last year with liver(walking into a class with your teacher casually blending up liver isn't really a great start to your day). It was still very cool to see the reaction happen before our eyes and to be able to write out the chemical reaction the do the chemical reaction.

It looked kind of like the liver... *sigh*

Well labs are cool, and making things out of things is cool.
Have a nice day

Stiochio-me-try

In theory this isn't that difficult. You do the same set up and application every time, yet somehow it is very difficult. The questions are not worded the same way each time and there are tricks to learn how to see through. Oh boy, this will not be fun. I enjoy the conversions but I don't enjoy the stressful tests. Good luck to all.

Copper-L Lab

Today we did a lab reacted Iron and Copper(II) Chloride to create solid Copper. It was very cool and interesting to watch. The reaction happened quicker than I expected and was really easy to set up and do successfully. The pre lab was stoichiometry where we had to calculate the max theoretical amount given mass.
